Wilfred Tok is one of the pioneers in the climbing scene in Singapore, with more than 15 years of experience in mountaineering. He was the Deputy Leader of the Singapore-Latin American Everest Expedition 2001, which attempted the more complex and difficult North Ridge route from Tibet. As a key member of the Mountaineering Society of Singapore (MOSS), he has also organised many expeditions to remote places such as Cerro Aconcagua (6962m) Argentina, Khan Tengri (6995m) Kazakhstan, Chandra Bhaga (5800m) Himachal Pradesh - Northern India and the Southern Alps in the Mount Cook region of New Zealand.
